Established in October 2007, Daft Mattress originated from the desire of a group of motivated young actors to create engaging stories that would captivate audiences from the second the curtains are up.
It is our belief that theatre doesn't have to make you question absolutely everything about the world we live in, and have you leaving theatres, bewildered and depressed. We aim to take things back-to-basics, and give you a variety of shows, ranging from Comedy to Drama to Installation work.
It is fair to say that we definitely have a 'no preaching' philosophy, and only explore concepts we feel will be genuinely entertaining and well worth the cost for the ticket.
Daft Mattress performed their first showcase at Seven in Leeds.
Daft Mattress will be performing updated versions of 'Apocalypse Wow' and 'How Do You Plea?' at the Carriage Works in Leeds, on June 4th.
Daft Mattress will be performing their first ever collaborative piece, 'In the Dog House', at the Carriage Works in Leeds, on June 25th.
There are also fundraising, variety evenings being held at Hi-fi Club, on May 30th and June 20th.
